Chirp Up Solitaire
All of the standard rules of Chirp Up apply to this version of the game.
You win by completing two healthy habitats before you go through the deck one time.
How To Play Chirp Up Solitaire:
Deal out the Chirp Up cards from a single deck. Deal the first card face up, then 5 cards face down, for a total of 6 cards in the hand. Only the top cards are face up. The goal is to create 2 healthy habitats.
Keep dealing cards. Put the 2nd card into the row face up, then continue dealing face down the row. Do until face up in the 6th place.
In this game, you must play any card that is face up, if it can be played. If a peril card is turned face up, you must play it against yourself if it can be played. Ignore cards if not applicable but they may apply later in the game.
Play the cards from the Draw Stack, with 3 cards drawn, and start with the top one if it can be played. You can play the next card if it can be played.
Goal: build 2 healthy habitats before you go through the Draw Stack once. Remember to draw the 3rd card from the Draw Stack each turn to play it. If you can't play it, then draw the next 3rd card.
Chirp Up Solitaire game notes
There are a few exceptions to standard rules.
As the Peril cards are turned up, they must be played against you if they can be played.
If a card doesn't apply to the game, then ignore it. It may apply later in the game.
If the Kleptoparasite card is turned over, you must remove the left most bird card in the bottom row of your habitats.
You still need a remedy card to remove a Peril card. When a Global Peril card is turned over, it prevents you from placing more cards in all habitats for 2 rounds. Thus, sort through the Sraw Stack 3 cards at a time, twice, so you miss playing for 2 rounds.
If you turn over a Love Bird card, draw the next 3 cards from the Draw Stack and play 2 of them if you can.
If you turn over a Migration card, remove the top 6 cards from the 6-card section, put them in the hold pile and turn over the next card from the 6-card section.
When going through the remaining card deck, sort through the cards playing the third card each time. Play the face up cards from the 6-card stack from left to right in order. If you can play the 3rd card, keep playing the next face up cards until you must stop.
